Thomas Magnussen is a serial entrepreneur, co-founder and executive of five high-tech companies, one of which is QuantumWise. QuantumWise is continuing the business of Atomistix A/S, a company Thomas Magnussen co-founded in 2003. QuantumWise is providing software solutions based on quantum theory, providing understanding for overcoming the challenges of nanoscale systems design. QuantumWise software is used by leading enterprises and research laboratories around the world to model the electronic structure of molecules, crystals, and surfaces. It is distinguished by its unique capability to simulate electrical transport in nano-devices, and its ability to treat large-scale nanosystems. Prior to becoming a serial entrepreneur, Thomas Magnussen worked for IBM. Thomas Magnussen's educational background is a PhD in computational engineering (the Technical University of Denmark), and an MBA (INSEAD, France).
