Co-founder of Novagali Pharma (France), a company focused on treatment of eye conditions using nanomedicine. Prof. Benita is a start-up veteran and most recently founded Nanolymf Ltd. focusing on nanoenapsulation technologies for oral delivery. He received the Hebrew University Kaye Innovation Award in 2000 and again in 2005. Prof. Benita is a world leading expert in the area of polymeric nano- and microparticulate and lipid-based drug delivery systems aimed at improving oral and ocular bioavailability.
