Dr. Lisziewicz co-founded Genetic Immunity in 1998 and has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer since. Genetic Immunity is currently investigating two nanomedicine based vaccine candidates in clinical trials (Phase 2). Dr. Lisziewicz has earlier co-founded the non-profit Research Institute for Genetic and Human Therapy (RIGHT) focusing on the treatment of HIV/AIDS. In 2005, Dr. Lisziewicz was appointed the Marie Curie Chair at the Semmelweis University Budapest.
