DTI - Danish Technological Institute
The Danish Technological Institute is a self-owned and non-profit institution.
DTI develops, applies and disseminates research- and technologically-based knowledge for the Danish business sector. As such DTI participates in development projects which are of use to society in close collaboration with leading research and educational institutions both in Denmark and abroad.
DTU Nanotech - The Technical University of Denmark
Within the field of micro- and nanotechnology, DTU Nanotech is committed to educating scientists and engineers, conducting research on an internationally competitive level, and transferring new technologies to industry through joint programs.
With 25 active research groups, DTU Nanotech scientists cover a wide array of scientific fields. DTU Nanotech researchers are putting nanotechnology to use within life science, chemical systems, fluidics, electromechanical systems, sensor technology, nanoelectronics and lab-on-a-chip systems. Over the past decade DTU Nanotech has employed an aggressive innovation strategy, collaborating closely with industry partners and ensuring a healthy environment for startups.
MC2 - Chalmers University, Sweden
The Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience - MC2 is doing research and education with focus on future electronics, photonics and micro-/nanosystems. The materials, devices and systems studied find their applications in future systems for wireless communication, data transmission over fibre links, sensor systems, quantum computers and completely new forms of nanoelectronics.
Within MC2 there are groups with interests in basic physics side by side with groups with their primary interest in very applied research on micro- and nanoelectronics. Our research is often done in close collaboration with industry and the surrounding society. MC2 has around 170 employees including around 60 PhD students. One of the MC2s laboratories is the nanofabrication laboratory used for preparation and manufacturing of micro- and nano- devices.
Imego
Imego represents a unique source of expertise within sensor system development. Imego has not only strived to establish itself as a provider of qualified technological expertise - Imego have also developed effective working methods, sought to attract the brightest minds in the field and always endeavoured to cultivate long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with all partners.
MANCEF
The Micro- and Nanotechnology Commercialization Education Foundation, MANCEF, connects the global community engaged in the commercialization of emerging technologies.
MANCEF is the world's only non-profit volunteer education foundation globally reaching the people, organizations and governments interested in commercializing small technologies.
MANCEF sponsors events and projects that educate and facilitate the transition of small technologies from laboratory to market.
MANCEF Activities:
- Member oriented workshops, conferences and seminars
- Annual COMS conference bringing together leaders in the MNT community
- Participation in leading market & industry studies
- Producing Roadmaps to provide direction to firms commercializing small technology
